In a nutshell

In this crucial role, you will play a significant part in steering our financial activities and contributing to our success in an international work environment. You will be responsible for gathering, verifying, and consolidating financial reports from our various subsidiary companies located in different countries. Additionally, you will perform financial analyses, create management reports, and develop and implement our financial strategy. You will also have responsibility and oversight over daily financial processes, including accounting.

Job requirements

You hold a Master’s degree in business administration & controlling, accountancy, or a related field. You have a minimum of 5 years of work experience as a Controller, Financial Analyst, or a similar role. You possess knowledge of accounting, financial processes, and relevant systems. Knowledge of Exact is mandatory. Additionally, you have a solid understanding of Dutch tax legislation and preferably other international fiscal regulations. You have experience with stakeholder management, both internally and externally. You have leadership affinity and a proactive and meticulous work attitude. You exhibit a hands-on mentality and goal-oriented behavior. You also possess strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both orally and in writing.

About you

You are responsible for processing financial data, which includes verifying, preparing, and consolidating monthly reports, quarterly reports, and annual financial statements.

You thrive on establishing a solid financial policy, including appropriate reports and governance structures. This energizes you! You are responsible for financial analyses and other management/directive reports for the board and our operational management. On a daily basis, you manage financial processes, including accounting, and provide direction to our bookkeeper.

You participate in crafting the (annual) budget and collaborate with the management team to achieve financial goals. You advise the management team based on current figures and insights regarding forecasting, cash management, and potential financing matters, both at the group and local levels. Lastly, you are accountable for financial compliance, including tax declarations, audits, and financial reporting requirements, as well as payroll administration and compensation.
